The short version: Bring your items and a photo ID. We test and weigh in front of you, explain the numbers, and you decide. There is no obligation to sell.
Selling gold or silver for the first time can feel like a black box. At DGX it is a short conversation at the counter, and you can watch every step.
1. Bring your items and a photo ID
Bring everything you are thinking about selling: jewelry, coins, bars, flatware, broken chains, single earrings. Do not clean or sort anything; cleaning can damage coins, and we sort as we test. Bring a valid government-issued photo ID, which we need when we buy from you, plus any receipts, certificates or grading slabs you have.
2. We test and weigh in front of you
Each piece is tested at the counter with our XRF analyzer and weighed on a calibrated scale. You see the purity reading and the weight for every item, and we explain what they mean.
3. We walk you through the offer
Your offer is based on the metal content of each piece and the metals market at the moment you visit. We show you how we got there: weight, purity, and the market price we are working from. Coins with collector value are priced individually.
4. You decide
Accept a same-day cash and/or check payout, or take your items back home. There is no pressure to sell.
How long does it take?
A handful of pieces usually takes a few minutes. A large collection or an estate takes longer, so call ahead on (702) 725-4344 and we will set aside time. Saturday visits are by appointment.
